Mentor Scheme

Interested in becoming a Mentor?

WILS will be running a mentoring scheme for the 2019/20 academic year, pairing a mentor with work experience to a first or second-year student who wishes to enter the same or a similar field.

Becoming a mentor would provide you with invaluable skills and also give you the opportunity to share your knowledge.

  • Work Experience (Spring Weeks, Internships, a Year in Industry etc.)

  • Willingness to be flexible and dedicated to the Mentoring Relationship.

  • Communicate with the Mentee at least once every month.

(Rolling Deadline) - 10th November

Are you in first-year and need direction, advice or support in applying for placements or internships?

Then join our mentoring programme today to get assistance and make the whole process less daunting.

Applications to become a Mentee are open now!

The WILS Alumni Network is a newly formed group on LinkedIn for the 2019/20 academic year. The network allows those members who have graduated to stay involved with the society, as all relevant WILS events will be advertised on this group.

The network also provides current members with the opportunity to start to build their own network, by reaching out to Alumni. Importantly, the network highlights the success of previous WILS members.
